Focus Photograhic Society was founded in the back room of a camera store in San Carlos, California in the year 1952. Membership has fluctuated over the years from a high of 75 to our present count of 17.

We meet on the second and fourth Monday of each month except December. We work in both prints and slides and in both film and digital media. Our goal is to provide a place for those who are interested in photography to share.
Our members are people at all levels of photography. We encourage members to share their expertise and give them an opportunity to show their work.
Our meeting consist of programs presented either by a member or a guest on some aspect of photography. We also hold show and tell critiques by our members of our work.
